Mary Elizabeth Klipfel Was born October 24, 1915 in Portageville, Mo to Elizabeth Elfrink and John Eftink. She died Monday March 10, 2008 at MO Delta Medical Center Sikeston, MO at the age of 92 years, 4 months and 17 days. She was united in marriage to Noah Joseph Klipfel on Jan. 30, 1940 in Portageville he preceded her in death on October 10, 1950. Also preceding her in death, were her parents, Elizabeth Elfrink Eftink. Her Son, Joe Klipfel, killed in Vietnam Dec. 6, 1968. Two brothers Henry Eftink and Paul Eftink and one sister Jane Priggel. She was a member of the St. Eustachius Catholic Church and Ladies sodality. She leaves to cherish her memories John & Ellie Klipfel of Portageville, Mo, Three daughters Mary Martha and Charles Grojean of Chaffee, Mo, Betty & Henry Alexander of Charleston, Tn Patsy and Charley Glover of Atoka, Tn, Sister, Emma (Robert) Gaines of Oran, Mo Brothers; George (Teresa) Eftink of Chaffee, Mo ,Andrew (Letha) Eftink of Portageville, Mo Nine Grand Children, Brian Klipfel, Aaron Glover, Keith Grojean, Jason Klipfel, Yvonne Omohundro, Celeste Gillette, Michele Smith, Laura Lamar, Dana Knighton. Ten Great Grand Children; Allison & Lindy Klipfel, Jane, Jake and Josie Gillette, Choloe Knighton, Kaetlynn Grojean, Jacob and Kelsey Klipfel, Emily Omohundro, and a host many other relatives and friends.
