Mary Sue Graham

M ary Sue passed away on Thursday November 28, 2019 at age of 91. She was born June 21, 1928 in Caruthersville, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph & Mildred Berryman of Blytheville, AR and two brothers, Bob & Bill Berryman.

S he married Howard Graham in 1948 in Blytheville, AR. They were the parents of four children: Roger (Jan) Graham of Henry, TN, Cathy (Dave) Sippel of Marion, AR, Glenn (Regina) Graham of Little Rock, AR & Gene (Jeannette) of Springfield, MO.

S he had 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and many, many friends. She was a member of the Portageville Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and mother until 1966 when she went to work for Portageville School System in the Follow Through program. She was a health aide for over 10 years. She took students to doctor and dentist appointments and found clothes for students when they had none. Over the past years, many students would see her in town, hug her and tell how much they appreciated the way she had loved them all. She didn't always remember their names, but she always remembered those hugs.

A fter retirement, she and Howard traveled all over the United States & Europe. She was always very active, especially until she was 90, going to exercise class, water aerobics & growing beautiful flowers. Her greatest joys were her family and helping other people. She was loved and will be missed by many.
