Mary Elizabeth Arbuckle

W as born June 24, 1927 in Phoenix, AZ to Newman Clark and Mary Edney Clark.  She died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Gideon Care Center at the age of 89 years 10 months and 16 days.

S he was united in marriage to John Arbuckle Jr. on January 1, 1950; he preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2010. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Mary Edney Clark and Newman Clark and two sisters, Doris Daly and Iris Maddox. She was a member of the Wardell Baptist Church. In the Later part of her life she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Arkansas State University. She loved being around family, friends and working in the yard.

S he leaves to cherish her memories two sons John C. Arbuckle III of Wardell, Mo and Wayne Arbuckle of Fort Worth, Texas; one daughter  Mary Reynolds, of Wardell, Mo; her brothers John Clark of Myrtle, MO and Alvin Clark of Thayer, Mo;  four grandchildren  Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Weaver, Beth Ann Stracener, Justin Carles Arbuckle, Bill David Reynolds; 5 great grandchildren Luke Thomas Stracener, Sara Beth Stracener, Kate Arbuckle, John David Arbuckle,  and William Arbuckle, and a host of many other relatives and friends.
