Marion Velma Farris Was born December 7, 1932 in Detroit, MI to Harriett Joann Newbert and Hubert Colin Scratch. She died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 28 days. Preceding her in death were her parents, Harriett Joann Newbert & Hubert Colin Scratch, one brother, Wes Scratch and her grand-daughter, Ashley Valdez. She was of Luther faith and enjoyed Spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memories one son; Dennis (Kellie) Farris of Yucaipa, CA, her daughters; Linda Cooperider of Santa Ana , CA, Gina (Hubert) Harris of New Madrid, MO, Deborah (Earnie) Starnes of New Madrid, MO, Gail (Carlos) Valdez of Bentonville, AR, Sisters; Ellen Brightmeyer of Vermont , Janet Freeman of Ohio 14 Grandchildren; Zachary Farris, Hannah Farris, Robin Smith, Michael Stephens, Matthew Stphens, Barry Karafa, Stacey McManus, Kathy Farrenburg, Ryan Harris, Skipper Harris, Robert McCarty, Amy Mowery, Danielle Gist, Kelcey Valdez. Numerous Great Grandchildren and a host many other relatives and friends.
