Eunice "Marie" Mathis Was born February 17, 1925 in St. James, MO to Estel Gunter and Chester Copeland. She died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Portageville Nursing Center at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 21 days. She was united in marriage to Cecil Mathis he proceeded her in death in 1971 also preceding her in death, were her parents, Estel Gunter & Chester Copeland; She leaves to cherish her memories six sons, Jimmy Albert Mathis of Colorado, William Mark Mathis of Portageville, Mo, James Mack Mathis of Portageville, Mo, Thomas Mathis of Portageville, Mo, David Wayne Mathis of Clarkton, Mo, Donald Eugene Mathis of Portageville, Mo, her daughters; Sandra Jean Dooley of Portageville, Mo, Susie Darchia Birdwell of Portageville, Mo, one sister, Genevieve Mayor of St. Louis Mo, 29 Grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host many other relatives and friends
