Margaret Woodrow Totty Was born November 15, 1912 in Tennessee to Clara B. Field Hayes and Clarence C. Hayes. She died Sunday, April 3, 2011 in Sikeston, MO at the age of 98 years, 4 months and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Vernie Stephen Totty on September 10, 1932 in Conran, MO. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1988 also preceding her in death, were her parents, Clara B. Field Hayes and Clarence C. Hayes, one son Vernie Joe Totty on March 29, 1979, four sisters Miriam Waters, Alice Garrison, Jean Gooch and Velma Powell, two brothers; James and Fred Hayes. She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Mike Totty of Theodosia, MO, two daughters, Wynette Wilson of Portageville, MO and Karen T. Goodman of St. Louis, MO, three sisters, Thelma Gooch of Portageville, MO, Juanita Hayes and Athalyn Norris, both of Michigan, one brother, Clarence Hayes of Portageville, MO, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and a host many other relatives and friends.
