Margaret Jean White Moylan

of Portageville, Missouri passed away August 6, 2025 at the age of 83 years and 11 months. She was born September 6, 1941 on Lovers Lane to the late Charles Edward and Lillie Mae Hawkins White.

She graduated from Portageville High School in 1959. She moved to Champaign Illinois where she started her career as a legal secretary. Upon returning to Portageville She started work in the accounting department of Farmers Bank of Portageville. She met and married Ernest Robert Moylan Jr (Sonny) of Portageville on Jan 12, 1964. Sonny preceded her in death on Feb. 5, 2003.

After her marriage, she went to work for Dr James D. Grable as a Receptionist office manager, where she worked for many years and was well known for Running his office until he moved his practice to Cape Girardeau. She  then became the executive secretary to the superintendent school Board for the Portageville School district until her retirement.

Margaret and Sonny were loving, dedicated parents to their daughter Monica and son Christopher. They were strong supports and sponsors of all sports activities that their children and other children participated is for many years. Even after their children were grown.

She was a perfectionist which was apparent in her appearance, her style, and her impeccable home. She was quite a lady who truly believe you, never left  home without your lipstick.

In addition to her parents and husband. She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Robert Moylan, her brother Charles Cleveland White, Jewel Edwards White, Donald Lee white. Her sister; Carletta White, Lillian Grace White, Mary Etta Wynn.

She leaves to cherish her memories,

Daughter Monica Jean Moylan King and Husband Richard (Baz) of New Madrid, MO. Grandchildren; Sunnie Marie Underwood and fiancé Duston Hutson of Millersville, MO. Mark Ansel Underwood and girlfriend Jordyn Gunn Dunn of cape Girardeau, Mi. Luke, Lila and Blaire Moylan, all of Portageville, Missouri . Her sister, Barbara Louise Brand of McKinney, Texas and sister-in-law Debbie Moylan of Portageville, MO.

In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Cardinal Glennon Children Hospital of St Louis, Mo, Shriners Hospital or the Global Methodist Church of Portageville, MO
