Mack "Rusty" Cross

Was born March 12, 1922 in Yuma, TN to Talbert Eugene Cross and Ideal (Williams) Cross. He died Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Golden Living Center in New Madrid, MO at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 15 days.

He was united in marriage September 16, 1939 in Blytheville, AR to Marcella Treece who survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ideal (Williams) Cross & Talbert Eugene Cross, brothers,  Luke, Talbert Vernon, John W., James, Gene Cross, sisters, Beatrice Hastings and infant sister, Ollie Nell Cross. Also preceding him in death was his son-in-law, Larry White and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Cross.   He served in the United States Navy during World War II.  He was a retired businessman.  He was owner-operator of Rusty's Café and M & M Cross Truck Stop for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville.

He leaves to cherish his memories his Wife of 76 years, Marcella (Sweetie) Cross of the home in Portageville, s on, Mark Cross, daughters, Barbara White, Marsha (Larry) Bradfield all of Portageville, one brother, B.A. "Boots" (Mayola) Cross of Hayti, MO, 8 Grandchildren, Kim (Ricky) Ray of Portageville, Kellie Ifland of Portageville,

Kevin (Kristie) White of Memphis, TN, Toby (Kelli) Bradfield of Portageville, Candace (Chris) Sutton, Mary Hannah (Jeremy) Angotti, Brooke Cross all of Portageville, Marca Cross of Charleston, MO, 18 Great-Grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
