Lorri L. Morgan

W as born August 8, 1962 in Hayti, MO to Loyd Edward McMillen Sr. and Gail Alexander McMillen. She passed away on Saturday; December 22, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 56.

P receding her in death was her dad, Loyd Edward McMillen Sr. April 2, 1997 and her brother, Loyd Edward "Sonny" McMillen Jr. November 21, 2014.

O n March 10, 1992 Lorri married Thomas Morgan in New Madrid, MO. She graduated Portageville High School, after which she attended Arkansas State University, but she obtained her Masters through William Woods College. She was a teacher at the Oak View learning Center in Hayti. She was a member of the Livingstone Baptist Church. She was very active in many roles throughout her children's school days whether helping with many Project Graduations or attending sporting events, she was always there cheering them and all the rest of the kids on. She loved her family emsley but her love for teaching and her students was very evident, always wanting to make sure their needs were met, Lorri had a big heart and always a smile for everyone. She was a great asset to our community, her school, her church and most of all her family.

S he leaves to cherish her many memories her mother; Gail McMillen, her loving husband; Thomas Morgan, one son and daughter-in-law, T.J. and Ruby Smith, three daughters; Tara Smith, Staci Morgan, Danielle Morgan, her brother; Seth Andrew (Jennifer) McMillen, two sisters, Kelli (Dewayne) Nowlin and Felicia "Picca" (Rodi) Walker, four grandchildren; Gabriel Ross, Riley Mascroft, Trip & Grayson Smith all from Portageville, Mo, a half-brother , Kenny (Toni) Angel of Bone Gap, IL and so many other relatives and friends to whom will miss her dearly.
