It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Lola Fay Raymer, who left this world on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, at the age of 81.

Born on December 17, 1944, in Marston, Missouri, Lola was the beloved daughter of the late Glonda Moore Baney and Johnnie Franklin Baney. She was united in marriage to J.D. Raymer, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death were her son Ricky Wayne Raymer and her sister Robert Allen Raymer.

Lola’s life was filled with love for her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory her son Gary Lee Raymer of Marston, Missouri; brothers Rayburn Baney and David Mark Baney, both of Clarkton, Missouri; sisters Viola Marie James of Clarkton, Missouri and Judy Tarkington of Gideon, Missouri; five grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will forever remember her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit.

Lola Fay Raymer will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
