L.J Moore

L.J. Moore, 71, of Lilbourn, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at his home in Lilbourn. He was born on June 14, 1955, in Catron, Missouri, to the late J.W. Moore and Laura Gregory Moore.

L.J. was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Gregory Moore and J.W. Moore.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Darleen Taylor of Lilbourn, Missouri; one son, Daron Scott of Malden, Missouri; one stepson, Steven Taylor of Lilbourn, Missouri; one daughter, Mary Howell of Champaign, Illinois; step daughter, Cheryl Debose of Lilbourn, Missouri, sister; Dorothy Sims of Wichita, Kansas; two brothers, Willie Moore of Howardsville, Missouri, and John Moore of Rockville, Illinois; seven grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Simmons Cemetery in Catron, Missouri.
