Linda Joyce Willis, 73, formerly of New Madrid, Missouri, passed away
peacefully on August 7, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Born September 7, 19S0, in Marked Tree, Arkansas, she was the cherished
daughter of Everette Stewart and Dora Ruth West, both deceased. Linda was
a devoted wife to Robert Elzy Willis, whom she married on June 20, 1970.
Together, they shared 49 beautiful years of marriage, raising three daughters
Tammy Beaird, Christina Tanner, and Deborah Smith.
A nurturing and loving mother, Linda dedicated her life to her family. She
was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering support.
Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the comforting
aroma of her delicious home-cooked meals. Linda had a passion for
cooking and traveling that she shared with those around her, leaving
behind a legacy for her daughters to emulate. Her creativity and zest
for life were evident in everything she did. Linda embraced both the
Baptist and Catholic faiths.
Linda is survived by her children: Tammy Beaird (Tom Crow), Christina Tanner (Dan
Marcum), and Debbie Smith (Todd Smith); grandchildren: Christopher Beaird, Taylor
Burchell, Logan Tanner, and Jake Smith; gandson-in-law: David Keith; and her
great-grandchildren: Lindsey Reese. Keegan, Annastyn, and Lexi Tanner. Sawyer
Burchell. She is also remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and
dear friends.
Linda Joyce Willis is preceded in death by her spouse, Robert Elzy Willis; siblings:
Winnie, Willie, Sue, Lois, and Patsy; granddaughter Brittany Keith and grandson Justin
Thacker; and great-grandson Justin Keith.
In closing , the family of Linda Willis would like to extend their heartfelt

and Kelly Scott. Your care and compassion have left a lasting impression,
and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
