Linda Sue Martin was born October 4, 1943 in Marshall, AR to Freeman R. and Mable (Kiplinger) Elliott. She died Wednesday October 22, 2014 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti, MO at the age of 71 years and 18 days. She was united in marriage to Bruce Martin October 3, 1959 in Lilbourn, MO. He survives of the home in Portageville, MO. She was of the Baptist faith. Preceding Linda Sue Martin in death, were her parents, Freeman R. Elliott February 6, 1988 and Mable (Kiplinger) Elliott February 2, 2006. She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Bruce Martin of Portageville, MO; two daughters, Terry (Greg) Gowan and Misty (Paul) Fout, both of Portageville, MO; a brother, Raymond (Sunny) Elliott of Conran, MO; three grandchildren: Chris Bates, Cory Bates and Brayden Fout; two great-grandchildren, Fenley Beth Bates and Payton Alise Bates and a host of many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kenny Rogers' Children's Center and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
