Lewis Edward Lechenette Was born October 1, 1939 in Portageville MO to Stella Agnes (Lineberry) Lechenette and Lewis Jordan Lechenette. He died Monday, October 24, 2011 at his home in Portageville MO at the age of 72 years, and 23 days. He was united in marriage May 25, 1973 in Portageville, MO to Diane Hawks Lechenette who survives of the home. Preceding him in death were his parents, Stella Agnes (Lineberry) Lechenette & Lewis Jordan Lechenette & one brother, Jerry Wayne Lechenette. He worked at McCrate Equipment/Baker Implement for 47 years serving three generations of farmers. He leaves to cherish his memories, Wife; Diane (Hawks) Lechenette of Portageville, MO 2 Daughters; Lelsie & Jimmy Madison of Concord, MO & LeAnn Lechenette of Portageville, MO, his sisters; Christine Beck of Roanoke , Virginia & Betty Lou Miskimen of Applecreek, Ohio, His brother: Ron "George" Lechenette of Kimberling City, MO , Mother-in-Law ; Hazel Hawks of Portageville, MO and One extra special grand-daughter; Gabrielle M. Lechenette and a host many other relatives and friends.
