L.C. Keith Was born February 5, 1927 in Portageville, MO to Albert Keith and Bennie Mae Wrather Keith. he died Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his home in Portageville, MO at the age of 88 years, nine months and seven days. He was united in marriage to Eva Jean Keith on July 7, 1973 in Portageville, she survives of the home. Proceeding him in death were his parents, Bennie Mae & Albert Keith, one sister, Mary Emma Meatte and one brother Verbel Keith. He was a veteran of Navy having served in WWII. He was 32 Degree Mason and a past master of Odom Lodge 166 he served honorably on the Portageville Fire Department for over 50 Years. Serving as a fireman and also secretary- treasurer. He was employed for 40 years by the United States Postal Service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Portageville where he served as a Deacon. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Eva Jean Keith of the home, sons, David, Luke, Stephen, Allen, Dennis, daughters; Patricia and Tina, one sister, Icie Emermie Simpson of Lilbourn, MO, 12 Grandchildren: 29 Great Grandchildren and host of many other relatives and friends.
