Lawanda Mae Lalk

Lawanda Mae Ramsey Lalk was born on January 19, 1943, in Hayti, Missouri, to the late Della Street Ramsey and Glenn Ramsey. She departed this life on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the Gideon Care Center, at the age of 83.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Della Street Ramsey and Glenn Ramsey; one sister, Glenda Evans; and her granddaughter, Courtney Lalk. Lawanda enjoyed traveling, sewing, and spending time with her family—especially her beloved grandchildren.

Lawanda leaves to cherish her memory her sons: Keith (Cheryl) Lalk of Risco, Missouri, and James (Keila) Lalk of Malden, Missouri; her brothers: Billy Ramsey of Jackson, Missouri, and Wally (Freda) Ramsey of Marston, Missouri; her sisters: Carolyn (Jerry) Hatter of Nellysford, Virginia, and Sharron (Robert) Henry of New Madrid, Missouri; and her grandchildren: Kristen Fourie, Billy Hardon, and Amanda Myers.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
