Laura Jean Hopkins was born on November 16, 1965, in Hayti, Missouri. to Hazel Cornman Laws & the late Don Laws. She passed away on Thursday October 10, 2024, at her home in Wardell, Missouri, at the age of 58 years, 10 months and 24 days.

Preceding her in death was her father Don Laws, she enjoyed, crafting, quilting and spending time with her kids and grandkids

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Hazel Laws of Portageville, MO, two sons, Deven (Katie) McMillen of Portageville, MO, Trey (Brenda) McMillen  of Jackson, MO, one sister Donna (Kingston) Wilson of Elsbury, MO, her grandchildren; Sunnie McMillen & Neil McMillen, three step children; Brett, Seth and Rachel Hopkins, five step grandchildren; Gage, Avereigh, Easton, Parker and Jax Hopkins and a host of many other relatives and friends.
