Larry Eugene Ward

W as born December 13, 1942 in Portageville, MO to Norvil Ward and Pauline Cook. He died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 11 days.

P receding him in death were his parents Norvil & Pauline (Cook) Ward & his brother, Gary Ward. He was united in marriage March 7, 1964 in Flint, MI to Sue (Allen) Ward, she survives of the home. Mr. Larry worked at the GM Company, he farmed and was a state inspector for the Department of Agriculture. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Portageville, he received his Associates degree from the School of the Ozarks. He loved reading, farming (keeping up with the crops) visiting, joking but most of all, his children and grandchildren were his universe.

H e leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sue Ward of their home in Portageville, MO, three sons, Craig (Kristy) Ward. Scott Ward both from Portageville, MO and David (Rhonda) Ward of Lilbourn, MO, daughter, Rebecca Shay (Paul) Goff of Portageville, MO his brothers, Norvil (Pat) Ward of Steele, MO, Billy Wes (Carol) Ward of Swartz Creek, MI, nine grandchildren, Bridgett Moore, Anna Ward, Alicia Reeves, Chance Ward, Morgan Ward, Nicholas Merrick, Brock Ward, Devan Ward, Cooper Ward, three great- grandchildren, Isaiah Burk, Jason Lynch & Gabriella Ramsey and a host of many other relatives and friends.
