Lamar Dantrel Morgan
Lamar Dantrel Morgan was born on March 6, 1984 in Hayti, Missouri. to Richard Henry Morgan and Shadie Mae Sykes. He transitioned on Thursday January 30, 2025 at Springfield, Mo, at the age of 40 years 10 months and twenty four days. He confessed faith in Christ on December 13, 2007 at the age of 23.
Preceding him in death was his maternal grandparents Eula (Eddie) B. Sykes-Bell and Wesley O'Neal and his paternal grandparents, Minnie Lee Taylor and Andrew Morgan.
He leaves to cherish his memories, His Mother, Shadie Mae Sykes of Portageville, Missouri and Father Richard Henry Morgan of Portageville, Missouri His Three Children; Lamar Morgan Jr (Lj) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Brooklyn Morgan of Lilbourn, Mo and Clara Morgan of Lilbourn, Mo. Four Brothers; Michael Sykes of Lilbourn, Mo, Quinton (Felicia) Sykes of New Madrid, Mo, Antoine (Shequena) Miller of Barlett Tennessee, DeLeon Morgan of St. Louis Missouri. One sister, Meoshe Morgan of Jonesboro, Arkansas along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lamar loved his kids and cherished these moments like calling or facetiming them before school. Marlee, as he was known to everyone, had a contagious laugh and warm smile. His signature greeting, "WHAT UP DOE" always brought a smile to the faces of those who heard it. He never forgot any moment or memory he had with anyone and called often to re-live those days of cracking jokes and laughing.
