Lady Ester Greene

W as born April 7, 1923 in Cario, IL to Pearl Harris.  She passed away on Jan. 03, 2021 at her residence in Portageville, MO at the age of 97 years, 8 months and 27 days.

P receding her in death was her mother Pearl Harris also preceding her, was a son, Victor Patterson Anderson, her sister, Victoria Anderson.

L ady Ester was united in marriage to Lanzy Greene he too preceded her in death. She was a member of the New Bethel Church in Portageville where over the years she served many roles including being an usher, she also worked at the Community Center and was a beautician for many years. Lady Ester was known for her feisty character, she loved going to her church and being involved.  She loved her family and enjoyed sitting on the porch watching all the activities around her.  She lived a full life and she will be missed by so many.

S he leaves to cherish her sons; Bobby Joe Anderson of Chicago, IL, Lanzy Greene Jr. of Portageville, MO, Larry Greene of Portageville, MO, Victor Paul Anderson of Portageville, MO, 14 Grandchildren and numerous Great-grandchildren, and a host of many other relatives and friends
