Kathleen Parr was born March 7, 1948 in Corinth, MS to Washington Leon Hollis and Rozella Irene Parsons. She died Monday, April 7, 2014 in West Plains, MO at the age of 66 years and one month. She was united in marriage to Frank Parr August 17, 1974 in Wardell, MO. He survives of the home in West Plains, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Washington Leon Hollis and Rozella Irene (Parsons) Hollis, two brothers, Roy and J.D. Hollis and a niece, Patricia Cross. She enjoyed animals, reading and gardening. She formerly taught Headstart at Wardell. She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Frank Parr of West Plains, MO; a son: John Parr of West Plains, MO; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jeff Skelton of Sikeston, MO, two sisters, Virginia Cross of Dyersburg, TN and Mary Butler of Portageville, MO; two grandchildren, Tray and Elizabeth Phelps of Steele, MO, a great-grandson, Noah Phelps of Hayti, MO and a host of many other relatives and friends.
