Kathern Marvella Dale Bryant Phillips

W as born March 20, 1928 in Sturdivant, MO to John and Daisy (Watkins) Bryant.  She passed away on October 9, 2021 at Southeast Hospital-Cape Girardeau, MO  at the age of 93 years.

United in marriage December 14, 1946, to Paul W. Phillips in Piggott, AR. To this union was one son Jackie Dale Phillips.

Kathern was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.  She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, working in her yard, cooking and being with family and friends.  She attended the First Church of God where she and Paul were Sunday school teachers for many years.  She enjoyed working with the ladies on different projects and dinners at the church until her health no longer allowed her to do so.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Daisy Bryant, nine brothers & sisters; Pearl (infant) Clarence (infant), Herbert Bryant, Vernie Pulley, Pauline Watts, Raymond Bryant, Virgie Poe, Billy Bryant and Freda Call.

She leaves to cherish her memories, the love of her life, Paul W. Phillips, Her son and daughter-in-law, Jackie and Joyce Phillips of Portageville, MO, two granddaughters, Brandy Hartman and Kelly Adams, five great-grandchildren Sydney, Luke and Layla Adams, Hunter and Mazie Grace Hartman, three great-great grandchildren Ava, Lucas and Colby Hartman, her niece, Debbie Nave and many other relatives and friends.
