Obituary

Karen Turner Williams, age 79, of Lakeland, Tennessee, passed away on January 16, 2024 after a brief illness.  She is survived by her three children, Thomas Edward McCrory (Kimberly), John Patrick McCrory and Kristin O'Kelley Lockhart; her 8-grandchildren:  Caroline McCrory, Ryan McCrory, Kylie McCrory, Caitlin McCrory, Catherine Lockhart, Kelsey McCrory and Kendyl Lockhart; and her brother, Robert Edward Turner (Virgina).  She was predeceased by her father and mother, Edward and Glenna Turner, and her brother Thomas Michel Turner.

Born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Karen attended St. Eustachius Catholic School and graduated from Portageville High School.  She also earned her BS degree in Accounting and her MBA from Christiam Brother University in Memphis.

Karen spent her accounting career in leadership roles at Data Communications Corporation, Jefferson-Pilot, Southland Capital, Cook Systems, TBC Corporation and A to Z Construction Services.

Karen was a member of St, Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Cordova, TN.

On January 26, 2024, visitation will be at 11am at DeLisle Funeral Home, 209 W. Main St. in Portageville, MO.  A Funeral Mass will follow at 12pm at St. Eustachius Catholic Church.  The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Portageville Cemetery.

She was greatly loved, and will be deeply missed.  Her life was a blessing, and her memory a treasure.
