June Bernice Huck

It is with great sadness that the family of June Bernice Huck announces her passing on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at the Portageville Health Care Center at the age 87 years old.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Bertha (Scott) Carroll and Goldman Carroll, one son, Johnny Carroll Huck, December 29, 2016 and a brother, Jack Carroll.

She was a member of St. Eustachius Catholic Church and member of Lady's of Sodality. She loved playing cards with friends, shopping, quilting & sewing, baking (she was known as queen of cakes). She never met a stranger and loved talking to people, but her family gathering's were her greatest joy.

June will be lovingly remembered by her devoted and loving husband of 67 years, Dr. O.A. Huck of the home in Portageville, MO, her sons, James (Bettie) Huck of Cape Girardeau, MO, Joseph (Ann) Huck of Poplar Bluff, MO, her daughters: Judy (Ray) McGovern of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Jana (Jay) Hill of Kennesaw, GA, Junilla (Darl) Bivins of Portageville, MO, daughter-in-law; Mary Sue Huck of Portageville, MO, one sister: Jewell Evitts of Corinth, MS, 13 grandchildren; Travis (Lacy) Huck, Jamie (Kevin) McMillion, Hillary Huck, Josh (Melissa) Huck, Jessica (David) Sexton, Julia (Paul) Schmidt, JoAnne (Josh) Roberts, Katie Crews, Abby Crews, Emily McGovern, Kaley Hill, Jason Hill, April (Jim) Hammack, 13 great-grandchildren; Lainey Huck, Lily Huck, Mary Claire Huck, Daisy McMillion, Hayden McMillion, Wyatt McMillion, Kayla Huck, Sammie Sexton, Haylie Hammack, Kolton Hammack, Jillian Roberts, Juliet Roberts, Jennings Roberts, by many dear friends, her church family and by many more who will cherish every memory they hold of this dear sweet lady.
