Joy Dean Stewart

W as born on July 04, 1940, to the late Gus Phillips and Mae Richardson Phillips. She passed away on September 10, 2022, at Sikeston, Missouri at the age of 82 years 2 months 6 days.

S he was united in marriage to Lindol LaRay Stewart on July 26, 1958, in Lilbourn, MO. He preceded her in death October 1, 2015.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, Gus Phillips and Mae Richardson Phillips, a daughter, Joy LaRay Stewart, her brothers, Jimmy Wayne Phillips, Charles Phillips, Augusta Roy "Junior" Phillips and Donald Ray Woods and; her sister, Doris Elizabeth Dueker. Mrs Joy Dean was a faithful member of the First Church of God where she also served as secretary for many years.

S he leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Debra (Russ) Kingsbury of Portageville, MO, Stacy Stewart of St. Louis, MO and Sandy Stewart of Portageville, MO, two sisters, Mary Alice Davis of Sikeston, MO and Linda (Phillip) Thomas of Milan, TN and one brother, Danny Phillips, five grandchildren; Tristan (Sydney), Torey, Taryn, Cahl and Pryce, two great-grandchildren; Axle and Amos and a host of many other relatives and friends.
