Obituary

Joshua Paul Jinks was born in West Memphis Arkansas, January 22nd 1978. Born to Cynthia June Jinks and Charlie Edward Jinks. A father, a brother, a son, but above all, a child of God. He was reunited in Heaven with his late son and daughter, leaving behind his wife Aimee and son clayton and daughter Julie. He was preceded in death by his parents, his aunt Helen Clayton. He is survived by his aunt Patricia Clayton, his sister Amanda Jinks Ellison, mother and father in law, Rev. Jimmy and Cindee Johnson, Siblings in law Jacob(Shelly) and Zac Johnson. He also leaves behind his most beloved niece and nephews, McKenzie and Nick McCall, Jordan and Chance Boone, and Luke Johnson. The best of all is his great nephew Reid Wayne McCall who called him Grunk.

Josh graduated from Delta C-7 in deering MO as valedictorian. He recently graduated from Liberty University with a BS in history. He also completed the police academy through Southeast Missouri State University in 2000 before medical retiring, he served at Caruthersville MO and served as a chief of police in Lilbourn MO. One of his greatest joys was helping others.

He was united in marriage to Aimee Lucinda Johnson on August 2, 1998 at Braggadocio MO. They were married 27 years with two babies heavenside and two babies earthside. They met at church camp in 1995. They spent many wonderful years together trying to keep God at the center. Josh was so proud of his children and loved them beyond measure.

His favorite hobbies were gun collecting, sports of any kind-go cards-, John Wayne, and all things history. His greatest passion was aggravating, making people laugh, and telling useless random facts. He was a great story teller.
