Johnny Calvin Pyles was born December 4, 1948 in Risco, MO to David and Mary Lee (Morefield) Pyles. He died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in Memphis, TN at the age of 65 years, 10 months and 10 days. He was united in marriage to Charlotte Bugg February 16, 1973 and to this union, three children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Mary Lee (Morefield) Pyles and his son, James Michael Pyles in 2012. He served three tours of duty as a Specialist 4 with the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He received the Army Commendation Medal and a Bronze Star for his service there. He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Johnny Calvin Pyles II of Cape Girardeau, MO; a daughter, Christina Pyles of Cape Girardeau, MO; a sister, Paulette Pyles of Portageville, MO; a brother, Michael Pyles of Matthews, MO; eight grandchildren: James Cameron Micheal Pyles, James Micheal Wayne Pyles, Tyson Micheal Pyles, Emma Jean Pyles, Ethan James Pyles, Rico Revene Flye, Jasmine Timia Banks and Joslynn Sally Marcella Banks and a host of many other relatives and friends.
