John Thomas Widner

W as born September 7, 1953 in Phoenix, AZ to Guy Leroy Widner and Gwynedene T.McGuire. He died Friday December 18, 2015 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 62 Years, 3 Months and 11 Days

H e was united in marriage June 24, 1978 in Portageville, MO to Teresa Goodman, she preceded him in death on October 11, 2015, and also preceding him in death were his parents ; Gwynedene T. McGuire and Guy Leroy Widner. John worked several job in the Portageville Area from Land Grading with his father, to driving a fuel truck for Bruner's to working for the Griffin Oil company, but anyone that knew Johnny knew he loved The Dallas Cowboy Football Team and he had a way of making everyone around him happier. He showed great love for his family and friends and was very proud of them.

H e leaves to cherish his memories one son; Thomas Widner of Portageville, MO, his daughter; Alison (Cedric) Wilbourn of Portageville, MO, mother-in-law; Maxine Goodman of Portageville, MO, one brother; Stephen Widner of San Diego, California and his grandchild: Payton Wilbourn of Portageville, MO and a host of many other relatives and friends.
