John McCrate

W as born August 19, 1946 in Cape Girardeau, MO  to Joseph McCrate and Zelline Hobbs McCrate. He died Sunday, January 31, 2016 in  Portageville at the age of 69 years, 5 months & 12 days.

P receding him in death were his parents, Zelline Hobbs McCrate & Joseph McCrate, his step-mother, Harriette (Hunter) McCrate, nephew, Brendan McCrate.   He was owner & operator of McCrate Electrical Contractors in Portageville.  A member of St Eustachius Catholic Church.  John loved the outdoors, watching football but most of all riding his bike and family gatherings.

H e leaves to cherish his memories his love, Judi McCrate of Portageville, MO, one son, John Charles (Missy) McCrate of Portageville, MO, his daughters, Pam (Tim) Albers of Colorado Springs, CO, Leanne McCrate of St. Louis, MO,  four brothers: Joe McCrate of Menlo Park, California, Bob McCrate, Terry (Brenda)  McCrate both of Portageville, MO, Tom (Marilyn) McCrate of Dayton, OH, two sisters:, Martha (Ray) Bohlmann of St. Louis, MO, Ann McCrate of Dayton, OH & four grandchildren: Shelby Albers, Alyssa Albers, Caleb Albers & Paul McCrate and a host of many other relatives and friends.
