John Glidewell Jr

John Glidewell Jr was born on July 11, 1943 in Lilbourn, MO. to the late John Glidewell Sr and Lavetta Lewis Glidwell. He passed away on Thursday November 13, 2025, at Prairie View Nursing Home Bloomfield, MO, at the age of 82 years.

He was united in marriage to Judy Beaher on February 1, 1969, in New Madrid, Mo she survives of the home. In his younger days he enjoyed going to the lake with his buddies, fishing and hunting. He was retired from Noranda Aluminum Plant. He served in the United State Army and received two purple hearts, He was a member of the American Legion Post 595

Preceding him in death was his parents, Lavetta Lewis Glidwell & John Glidewell Sr, also preceding was his brother Danny Glidewell and Grandparents Frank and Hattie Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memories, His wife Judy Glidewell of the home, a very special son Gregory Glidewell of Lilbourn, MO. One sister Linda and Raymond Atchley of Arbyrd , MO. Mother in law; Helen Beaher of New Madrid, Sister in laws Ginger Reese, Peggy Broughton, Loretta Jimerson all of New Madrid,  MO. And a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
