Joan Carolyn Foster

W as born November 16. 1942 in Charleston, WV to Basil and Opal Green. She died Monday, March 27, 2017 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 11 days.

S he was united in marriage to her husband of 54 years Jimmy D. Foster on March 1, 1961, in Chicago, IL, he preceded her in death on February 6, 2015. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Basil and Opal Green and one brother, Kenneth Green. She was a member of St. Eustachius Catholic Church, where she was active with the Ladies Sodality. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends but most of all going to have coffee at Katie's Diner with her husband.

S he leaves to cherish her memories two daughters and son-in-law, Karen and Mark Brands and Pamela Dee Foster both of Portageville, MO, one brother, Basil Green of Clear Creek, WV, her sister, Betty Freeman of Nitro, WV, two grandsons, Jared (Andrea) Brands and Trevor Brands of Portageville, MO and one great-granddaughter, Harper Lee Brands and a host of many other relatives and friends.
