Jennings Was born August 29, 1922 in Memphis, TN to Etta Malone Jennings and Jim Jennings she died Friday July 24, 2009 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital, Hayti, MO at the age of 86 years, 10 months and 26 days. He was united in marriage to Cora Petty who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents Jim & Etta Malone Jennings; 2 daughters: Mattie Louise Jennings & Mae Fannie Bowen Jennings and 1 son, Rommie Lee Jennings. Mr. Jennings was employed for many years by Adams Supply. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of New Bethel Church. He leaves to cherish his memories his ex-wife, Ollie Jean Jennings; 7 sons: John Eddie Jennings, Donnie Ray Jennings & Edward Charles Jennings all of Portageville, MO, Robert Allen Jennings of Sikeston, MO, Carl Lee Jennings of New Madrid, MO, Jimmy Ray Jennings of Osceola, AR & J.W. Bowen of Detroit, MI; 6 daughters: Georgia Ann Jennings of Marston, MO, Dorrie Ann Jennings of Lilbourn, MO, Arvelia Jennings, Daisy Lee Jennings & Loretta Jennings all of Portageville, MO & Linda Jennings of Atlanta, GA; many loving grandchildren & great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
