Jessie James Winters
Was born May 27, 1943, to the late Bozie and Georgia Henny Winters of Tallahatchie County Mississippi. He worked as a farmer for many years and put in 50 years at the Priggel Farms. Even tho he was battling sickness, he still periodically would work the farm until he was physically unable to do it. That's the love he had for farming, driving trucks and fixing cars. He was very gifted for the work he loved to do.
He had two unions and to these union of 10 children were born. On September 5, 2021, God called Jessie to his eternal home at his home He was preceded in death by his parents Bozie and Georgia Henry Winters; three brothers Bozie Winters, Johnny Winters, Willie Winters and four sisters; Iona Winters, Susie Brandon, Blachie and Mildred Winters and three children; Ruthie Mae, Annie W Tosha and two grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters; Mary Thomas of Poplar Bluff MO, Fanika Partee of Dyersburg TN, Dale Winters of Louisiana, Tantra Taylor (Tyrone) of Elkhart Indiana, Christopher Booker of Charleston MO, Jessica Birdwell of Portageville MO, Eric Booker of Kennett MO, three sisters Annie Ruth Sanders of Charleston MO, Callie Winters Hunt of Memphis TN, Shirley Winters of Charleston MO, 29 grandchildren and host of great grandchildren, nieces & Nephews
