Jerry Dale Silman was born February 26, 1938 in Gideon, MO to A.J. Silman and Ercil Pavey. He died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 25 days. Preceding Jerry Dale Silman in death, were his parents, Ercil Pavey & A.J. Silman, one son, Jerry Dewayne Silman in 2005, a brother, Merril Silman and one grandson. He was a self-employed construction worker and roofer. He was very supportive of the youth activities in his community, sponsoring many children in local rodeos. He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Dennis Silman of Portageville, MO; a daughter, Sharon Mullins of Portageville, MO; four brothers: Delbert Silman of Portageville, MO; Robert Silman of Marston, MO; Danny Silman of Sikeston, MO and Phillip Silman of Lilbourn, MO; four sisters: JoAnn Little of Bakersfield, CA; Barbara Dabney of Columbia, MO; Nancy Edgar of Portageville, MO and Terri Joiner of Malden, MO; 7 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
