Jerry Wayne Davis

Was born June 1, 1947 in Lindy, MO to Ida Mae (Perry) Davis & Jessie Davis. He passed away on Thurs. Sept. 12, 2019 at his residence-Hayti, Mo at the age of 72 years, 3 months and 11 days.

Preceding him in death was his parents, Ida Mae (Perry) Davis and Jessie Davis also preceding him, 3 brothers, Paul, Randel and one brother in infancy.

On Feb. 2, 1974 in Hayti, MO he married Annette Robinson she survives of the home. Jerry was into drag racing, working on cars especially his chevelle, operating his dump truck, working in his junkyard, or just being outside, but most of all he loved his family and adored those grandchildren. He was a member of the Dry Bayou Missionary Church, He worked 43 years at the Caruthersville Shipyard as a supervisor, and he served in the U.S. Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Annette Davis of Hayti, MO, sons; Daren Wayne Davis of Kansas City, MO, Dale "Brent" Davis of Portageville, MO, Daniel Ray Davis of Hayti, MO, brothers; Raymond Davis of Portageville, MO, Ricky Davis of Portageville, MO, Eugene Davis of Portageville, MO grandchildren; Tara Davis, Tyler Davis, Taylor Davis and a host of many other relatives and friends
