Jerry E. Brasher

W as born Jan. 7, 1935 in Hayward, MO to Hazel (Ross) Brasher and Charles Brasher.  he passed                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   away on Thursday; May 13, 2021 at Missouri Delta Hospital-Sikeston, MO at the age of 86 years, 4 months and 6 days.

H e was united in marriage to Vernice (Tucker) Brasher, June 5, 1954 in Mississippi, she preceded him in death Sept. 17, 2020 also preceding him in death was his parents, two sons, Terry Brasher and Anthony "Tony" Brasher, his brother, Don Brasher, his sister, Wilma Allen and a daughter-in-law, Gail Brasher.

J erry loved to hunt and fish and watch St. Louis Cardinals baseball, but most of all he loved camping and the more family he had going the happier it would make him. Jerry was a Guard at Noranda Aluminum until he retired he was also member of Masonic Lodge.

H e leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Kay (Jesse) Kimball of New Madrid, MO,Robin Brasher of Portageville, MO, daughter-in-law, Teresa Brasher of Portageville, MO, brother, Lloyd Brasher of Portageville, MO, sister, Mary Lancaster of Dexter, MO, 9 Grandchildren; Richard & David Kimball, Jamie Henry, Matt Brasher, Jenny Dubois, Kimberly Johnson, Adam Pardon, Nathan & Daniel Brasher, 24 Great-Granchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a host of many other relatives and friends
