Jeanie Hampton Was born July 5, 1941 in Selmer, TN to Stephen Buckley and Jewell McClain. She died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 6 days. She was united in marriage to Edward Hampton, May 13, 1963 in Lilbourn, MO he preceded her in death September 24, 1990, also preceding her in death was her parents Jewell & Stephen Buckley, her son, Scott Hampton, two brothers, J.D. Buckley, Robert Buckley and sister, Louise Bowers. She was retired from cooking at the Portageville School Dist. She loved playing cards & cooking for her family and gardening. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Tammie (Joe) Barnett of Truman, AR, Marcella Buckley of Sikeston, MO ,Christi (Richard) Tucker of Essex, MO, 10 Grandchildren, Brenda Buckley Tombs, Robert Buckley, Christi McMasters, Sye Barnett, Josh Barnett, Seth Barnett, Amy Williams, Matt Hampton, Hannah Hampton, Layton Hampton, 10 Great-Grandchildren and a host many other relatives and friends.
