Ellen "Jeanette" Holt Was born June 30, 1939 in Waterloo Al to Esther Pearl McCuslkey Newton and Robert Newton. She died Sat. Jan. 28, 2012 at Missouri Delta Hosp. in Sikeston, MO at the age of 72 years, 6 months and 28 days. She was united in marriage to Ed Stricklin, later to Brannon Holt and her companion, Michael Bobersky they preceded her in death. who preceded her in death , Also preceding her in death were her parents, Esther Pearl McCusley Newton & Robert Newton She leaves to cherish her memories sons, Dean (Letha) Stricklin of Portageville, MO, Tracy (Terri) Stricklin of Poplar Bluff MO, Brian (Sherry) Stricklin of Snellville Georgia, daughters Amber Morrow of Portageville, MO, Tammy Elliott of Tacoma, Washington Anya Franklin of Spokane, WA, step-daughter, Devise Stricklin of florida, One stepson Tony Strickland of Sikeston, Mo. sisters, Glenda Hicks of Memphis TN brothers, Chris (Julie) Newton of Lakeland Florida. 12 Grand Children; James, Trent, Jessica, Taylor, John, Nickie, Hillary, Sarrah, Naomi, Kyle, Casey & Chelsea , 7 Great Grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends. Services were conducted Thursday, February 02, 2012 at DeLisle Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Kespelher officiating. Interment followed at the Portageville Cemetery , serving as pallbearers were; Tony Stricklin, Tony Hood, Ricky Rudd, Eric Hicks, Greg Day & Ron Ladwig.
