Janet Nell Henderson , 74, passed away October 22, 2022 at 11:10 PM.
Janet was born in Memphis, Tennessee January 9, 1948 to Joseph and Nell Henderson. Her first outing was to Dry Bayou Baptist Church where at an early age she dedicated her life to Jesus Christ.

Janet grew up in Concord and graduated from Ross High School in 1965. She was voted most beautiful, best dressed and Miss Ross High School her senior year. She was a state officer for the Future Homemakers of America. After graduation she married and became Mom to 3 children and later Memaw to her 7 grandchildren  This was her greatest and most loved role. When the children were older she embarked on a very successful career in the retail industry. She was a regional manager for Maidenform and a district manager for Victoria Secret stores.

Janet loved to travel. She had a passion for Humpback whales and traveled to Hawaii and Alaska many times for whale watching. She was an avid gardener, spending countless hours tending to her beautiful flowers and plants.  She loved shopping, mostly for others , she was a giver and a gifter. Most of all she loved spending time with her family

Janet was preceded in death by her father Joseph Henderson, brothers Joseph Myron Henderson and Robert Lee Henderson  Buddy and Roob to their big sister.

She is survived by her children , John Clark Jr. of  Daphne, Alabama. Holly Castle and son in law Al Fartaj of Frisco, Texas, and Jana Clark of Frisco, Texas. Her beloved grandchildren, Nicholas Castle, Katelyn Castle, Emily Castle, Joshua Clark, Presley Clark, Monica Clark and Jonathan Clark.  Her mother, Nell Henderson and sister, Donna Mattingly of Frisco, Texas. She was a special Aunt to Amy Byrd, John Henderson , Jason Mattingly and Jennifer Henderson  8 great nieces and nephews. Her Aunt Nancy Mott and sister-in-laws Brenda Henderson and Tracy Henderson

A memorial service will be held at Delisle Funeral Home in Portageville, Missouri November 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Dry Bayou Cemetery .

Pallbearers are Nicholas Castle, Josh Clark, Jason Mattingly, Al Fartaj, John Henderson, David Castle.
