James "Jake" Robert Townsend Was born September 18, 1942 in Conran, Mo to the late Minnie Campbell and Millard "Frog" Townsend. He died Friday December 17, 2010 at Parma, Mo at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 29 days. He was united in marriage to Katty Arnold, to this union one child was born, Lorrie Ann. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war serving in the Army. He was retired from the Richardson Cotton Gin in Marston, MO. He was preceded in death, by his parents, Minnie Campbell Townsend & Millard Townsend; and daughter Lorrie Ann Townsend Mayberry on July 28, 2010. He leaves to cherish his memories, His daughter, Lynie Jenkins of Puxico, MO. Sister and brother-in-law Connie sister, Bernard Hayes of Marston, MO and Becky Peek of Valle Mimes, MO Two brothers in sister-in laws; Frank & Lorene Townsend of Parma MO and Clarence & Pat Townsend of Independence, MO Four Grand Children; seven Great Grandchildren and a host many other relatives and friends.
