W as born September 17, 1940 in Portageville, MO to George E Swift Sr. and Mary Mildred Babb. He died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the San Jose Health and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 28 days.

P receding him in death, were his parents, George E Swift Sr and Mary Mildred (Babb) Swift.

H e was a retired Barber, of the Baptist Faith and was a past member of the First Baptist Church.

H e leaves to cherish his memories two brothers: George E. Swift Jr of Red Bank, TN and Gilbert Swift of Jonesboro, AR; one sister: Marylin Nabors of Smithville, MS and a host of many other relatives and friends.
