Jack Young Was born June 7, 1927 in Portageville, MO to Delia Alexander Young and Joe T. Young. He died Friday, March 22, 2013 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 15 days. He was united in marriage to Helen (House) Young, she preceded him in death August 6, 1986, also preceding him in death, were his parents, Delia Alexander Young & Joe T. Young, daughters, Barbara Pind , Jan. 20, 2003, Electa Fowler, July 3, 2010, sisters, Virginia Bell, Ernestine Schneider, grandchild, Sarah Pind, He was employed for many years with Noranda Aluminum & Portageville Cotton Gin, He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. A member of the American Legion #595. He was a member of St Eustachuis Catholic Church. He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Jackie (Barbara) Young of Kelso, MO, Son-in-law; John Grigsby of Portageville, daughter; Becky (Kenny) Johnson of Portageville, MO, sister; Wilma Hayden of Kirkwood, MO 12 Grand Children, David Durbin, Stephen Pind, Mike Durbin, Jason Young, Donald Young, Amy Young, Adam Young, Megan Long, Joey Johnson, Valerie Fowler, Andrew Fowler, Jill Fowler, 13 Great Grandchildren, a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
