James Terry Simmons

W as born June 24, 1957 in Hayti, MO to George Simmons and Margie DeRousse. He passed on December 3, 2017 at Memphis Medical Center, at the age of 60 years 5 months and 9 days.

T erry was of the Baptist Faith and loved camping, fishing and driving his truck around seeing all his friends.

P receding him in death were his brother Douglas Simmons in 1990, Sister Rene Simmons and grandson,  Dylan Simmons. He was a member of the Hayward Baptist Church and loved to go Camping, Fishing and riding in his truck.

H e leaves to cherish his many memories his father, George Simmons of Martson, Mo, his mother, Margie DeRousse Simmons of Portageville, Mo, three Sons, James Simmons Jr of Sikeston, Mo, Jason Simmons of Colorado, Jonathan Simmons of Delta, Mo, One special son, Coton James of Marston, Mo, Three Daughters; Sandy Gonzalez of Sikeston, MO, Katrina Simmons of Sikeston, MO, Tamara Simmons of Sikeston, MO. brothers; Thomas Simmons and Michael Simmons both of New Madrid MO, Floyd Simmons of Portageville, Mo, Chris Simmons of Horn Lake Ms. his sisters; Anita Smith of Hayti, MO, Kim Reynolds of Portageville, MO, Kay Watkins of Wardell, Mo, Mary Miller of Portageville, Mo, 15 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
