James Michael McGee

W as born October 28, 1945 in Canalou, MO to James R.T. McGee and Pauline Byrd McGee. He passed away on Sunday February 24, 2019 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 73 years.

P roceeding him in death were his parents: Pauline Byrd McGee and James R.T. McGee and his granddaughter Annemarie Brown. On February 6, 1966 in New Madrid he was united in marriage to Mary Frances Porter she survives of the home. James was a past deacon of Risco First Baptist Church and New Madrid Baptist Church. He was a people person never meeting a stranger, he enjoyed talking to people. In the early years he started his career in farming where he got his love for toy tractors. He cherished the time spend with his family and friends.

H e leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 53 years: Mary Frances McGee of New Madrid, MO, two daughters: Mindy Ann McGee, Amy (Donnie) Brown both of New Madrid, MO, one brother: Jerry Wade (Donna) McGee of Houston, TX, his two sisters: Brenda (Keith) Maclachlan –Taylor of Springfield, MO, Teresa (Dennis) Morrison of Dothan, AL, his Grandson: Donnie Ray Brown III of New Madrid, MO and a host of many other relatives and friends.
