James Edward Manley

Was born March 14, 1943 in Lilbourn, MO to Marshall and Mary (Middleton) Manley. He passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at his son's home in Marston, MO with his family at his side. He was 74 years, 3 months and 29 days.

He was united in marriage June 23, 1963 in Catron, Missouri to the love of his life, Nancy "Charolyn" (Webb) Manley.

James was best known as a hardworking man who loved working the land and then later did some truck driving where he never met a stranger and traveling was a big pleasure more than just a job.

A devout Christian man and deacon of the Catron Baptist Church in Catron, Missouri where he loved rejoicing and celebrating each service with the joy of God, He dearly loved his family, his church and just being around people telling stories of his travels.

In addition to his parents, Marshall and Mary (Middleton) Manley, James was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Manley.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Nancy "Charolyn" Manley, his son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Webb and Leigh Ann Manley of Marston, MO, his daughters and son-in-law, Denise Warren of Lilbourn, MO, Nancy and David Taylor of Springdale, AR, one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Patti Manley of Tallahassee, FL, his sister, Doris Manley of Lilbourn, MO, sister-in-law, Virginia Manley of Springfield, IL, 7 Grandchildren; Kaleb Warren, Chelsea Warren, Anna (Sam) Manley Barnett, Daniel Manley, Garrett Manley, Micah Taylor, Cully Taylor, 2 Great-Grandchildren; Charolyn and Emerson Barnett
