James "Buddy" Landon Fisher, born on July 28th, 1953 at Presnell Hospital in Kennett, MO, and departed this world on May 15th, 2024, at 70 years old. James graduated from Portageville High School in 1971. He married Barbara Wilson in 1981 and had 3 children; Landon, Joseph, and John, with whom they both shared immense love. Later in life, James remarried Pat Herrin on August 26th, 2016. James retired from Razorback RV on February 8th, 2022.
James had numerous hobbies, collections, and interests. He enjoyed cooking and baking, skills he utilized while volunteering for various Relay for Life events with Pat. James also had a passion for attending car shows, where he loved discussing the history of various cars. Additionally, he frequented flea markets as both a vendor and shopper, always on the hunt for collectibles or useful items at a good price. James had a massive Christmas village display that grew over the years, and it eventually became a year-round fixture due to its size.
James was known for his resourcefulness and determination when facing challenges, often finding temporary fixes until a permanent solution could be arranged. James was a very talented man and loved repurposing wooden pallets into many lovely and useful things and could fix anything
He is survived by his wife Pat Fisher, 3 step children Rebecca Denson, Tracy Tate and Gina Halbert and spouses. 6 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and many friends in Arkansas.
James is survived by his sisters Elaine (David) Musgrave and Florence (Richard) Gaines; his children Landon (Tabitha), Joseph, and John; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents James Woodrow and Mary Louise Fisher.
Visitation will be held for James on May 18th, 2024, 9:00 am at Delisle Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held immediately after the visitation at 11:00 AM.
