James H. Fox Was born December 26, 1923 in Portageville, MO to Ruth Duckworth and Henry Vernon Fox. He died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, MO at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Beatrice Sims on July 15, 1966 in Marston, MO; he survives of the home in Portageville. Preceding him in death was his parents, Ruth Duckworth & Henry Vernon Fox, one son, James Paul Fox and two sisters, Peggy Fox & Gwen Swims. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Beatrice Fox of Portageville, MO, three sons and daughters-in- law, Gene & Mary Morefield of Sikeston, MO, Dwight & Arlene Morefield of Portageville, MO and Dalton & Rosie Morefield of Wynne, AR, four daughters & sons-in-law, Anetta & Don King of Dexter, MO, Peggy Ruth Sukla of CA, Dolethea Dale Beaver of CA & Ardella Gail Reese of CA, one brother; Bill Fox of Marion , IL twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, and a host many other relatives and friends.
