James W.Ferguson was born December 19, 1923 in Prospect, Alabama to Minnie Iula (Thacker) and William Howard Ferguson . He died Saturday, June 6, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO at the age of 85 years, 5 months and 18 days. He was united in marriage Jan. 21, 1943 in Kaiser AR to Lucille Martin who survives of the home. Preceding him in death were his parents, Minnie Iula (Thacker) Ferguson & William Howard Ferguson, his brothers, David & Clifton Ferguson, 3 Sisters, Alene Warren, Pat Phelps & Willodene Martin and one granddaughter, Donna Poley.
