James Floyd DeRousse

James Floyd DeRousse was born on January 8, 1934 in Portageville, Mo. to the late Thelma Ethel Yarbro & Ollie DeRousse. He passed away on Friday May 31, 2024 at New Madrid Living Center at the age of 90 years 4 months and 23 days.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired farmer, loved to make a garden, fish and hunt in his early years.

He was united in marriage to Marillian G. Worth she preceded him in death on Jan. 29, 2023. Also Preceding him in death was his parents, Thelma Ethel Yarbro and Ollie DeRousse, and three brothers: George DeRousse Wilburn DeRousse & Bernie DeRousse and two sisters; Margie Simmons., Margaret Phillips

He leaves to cherish his memories his Sister and brother in law Mary Ada & Steve Daughtery of Portageville, Mo.  Step-son Ron Stewart of Portageville, Mo.  Step- grandchildren; Suzanne Millis, Keith Stewart, Chris Stewart, Travis Stewart, Shawna Gutherie, Matt Morgan, Scottie Morgan & Alyssa Moore and numerous great-grandchildren. Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of many others relatives and friends.
