James E. Barbre Was born September 8, 1932 in LaForge, Missouri to Goldie Summers Barbre and Fred Barbre. He died Saturday January 26, 2013 at Home, New Madrid, Missouri at the age of 80 years, 4 months and 18 days. He was united in marriage to Ruby F Hardin, February 1956 in Hernandez, Ms, she survives of the home. He was a Veteran of the United States Army where he served proudly during the Korean Conflict as a Corporal, He was a member of the New Life Assembly Church of New Madrid, Mo and the American Legion Post #595. Preceding him in death, were his parents, Goldie Summers Barbre & Fred Barbre, brothers, George Barbre, Jimmy D. Barbre, Eddie Barbre, Harold R. Barbre and Richard L. Barbre, sisters, Linda S. Pavulicko, Carol Barbre Wilson and Hazel Horton. One grandchild, Scottie Lee Barbre. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Ruby F. Hardin Barbre of New Madrid, Mo, two sons, Stephen Barbre and James W. Barbre both of New Madrid, Mo, two daughters, Erma Maxwell and Debra Aters both of New Madrid, Mo, three sisters, Martha Morris, Betty Mowery, and Ravenna Grissom all of New Madrid, Mo, seven grand children and ten great-grandchildren and a host many other relatives and friends.
